Core Capabilities

Everything your field team needs

Live Wildlife Tracking

GPS collars transmit location, battery level, and heading over LoRa. View a live map of every tagged animal directly on your phone — no cell signal required.

Off-Grid Team Messaging

Send addressed or broadcast messages between researchers over the LoRa mesh. Full delivery tracking with ACKs and automatic retries — like SMS, but for the jungle.

Trap Sensor Network

Wireless trap sensors broadcast open/closed status over LoRa. Know instantly when a trap triggers — from anywhere in the mesh range.

Solar-Powered Base Stations

TRAK base stations mount to trees or watchtowers. With solar power and an OLED display, they run autonomously and receive OTA firmware updates.

Cloud & Analytics

When WiFi is available, all data auto-syncs to Google Sheets organised by date and organisation. Visualise device history and export to Movebank.

Multi-Organisation Support

Multiple research organisations share the same hardware infrastructure. PIN-protected data folders ensure each team's data remains secure and separate.

The Platform

Field research infrastructure that works as hard as you do

Deep jungle or high mountain terrain — TRAK's mesh radio network keeps your team connected and your data flowing. GPS collars and trap sensors independently report to base stations and handheld devices over LoRa radio — local teams are alerted in real time and a live map updates on your phone, even when you're miles from civilisation.

When WiFi is eventually available, everything syncs automatically to our secure cloud portal — organised, searchable, and exportable to Movebank.

The App

Four screens. Everything the field needs.

The TRAK app works over Bluetooth to a nearby base station — no cell signal, no internet. Collar map, trap alerts, team messages, all in one place.
